Speed Up LAN Browsing in Windows XP

To speed up the browsing of your local area network:

 

 

1.

Open the registry editor

 

2.

Navigate to:

 

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\

Software\

Microsoft\

Windows\

CurrentVersion\

Explorer\

RemoteComputer\

NameSpace

 

Delete the key called:

{D6277990-4C6A-11CF-8D87-00AA0060F5BF} (Task Scheduler).

 

Close the registry editor.
